I want to create a plot that uses x-y scale bars instead of x-y axes. Is there an option somewhere to define a scale bar in Origin, or do I have to use the ugly hack of adding two straight lines to the plot and scaling them correctly?

Exactly what I was looking for. Just couldn't find the option, apparently. Thanks!

Hi kbriggs29,

How about the Scaler object("Graph: New XY Scaler" menu)? After appearing this object, you
can choose not only XY bi-directional, but also X(orY)-Scale. Then, you can remove the axes.

Does this object fit your needs?
