Posted - 01/30/2017 : 07:42:21 AM I have recently acquired fluorescence data that I wish to use to plot the emission data (the broad baseline). However, the data also shows sharp peaks attribute to another process (Raman scattering) that I wish to remove. Ideally I would be able to take my data set, find/fit the baseline.
I have tried using the standard baseline finder in peak analyser; however, the output I obtain requires a lot of manual additions and deletions. Even after this the resultant baseline (fluorescence signal) is not very smooth and I find a significant variation of the peak emission value (peak of the broad baseline) after several repeat attempts.
