Hello,

I'm new to origin (v 7 pro) and I'm trying to learn how to use it to calculate Stress Strain Curves given data captured by a data acquisition card.

Has any done this in the group. I'd very much appreciate any advice.

Thank you,

Lewis.Payton@eng.auburn.edu

Hello,

Thank you for your reply...

I am basically limited with our MTS machine to doing load-displacement testing.....

Have you used Origin to calculate the 2 percent yield point, modulus, etc? I'd like to develop a template to take our ASC II data and come up with Stress Strain Curves and a standard report format...

My email is paytoln@eng.auburn.edu if you care to correspond directly.

Thank you!

Hi Lewis,

I am using Origin to acquire stress-strain data directly from our Instron testing machine. What is your question?

Regards,

Edgar
