I found importing data (strings) from an Access database via ODBC import is limited to 25 characters. Is it possible to increase this string length to at least 30 characters?

Hi Carsten,

This problem has been fixed in Origin7.5. In 7.5 versions, by default, up to 49 characters can be imported. If you need to import more text, you just resize the column to make it as wide as your data require.

Thanks, Sammi

Hi sbd,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately this procedure does not work. I guess, the settings (i.e string length) are made within the odbc.dll. Maybe I am wrong? My question still is: Is there any way to ease this limitations?

Carsten
