Is it possible to assign the color of a Line (within a Line or Line+Symbol plot) to numbers which were stored in a column of a wks without using Labtalk or OC?

I think, similar to the following question, you can use indexing colors for the line segments in a plot by the (headless) XYXY-Vector plot:
