How do you access the attach to property of a label.
When I create a new text label it is attached to the page and not the layer frame. I want it attached to the layer frame.

Thanks for any help.

If the label has a name you can use this...

labelname.attach = 0; // attach to layer
labelname.attach = 1; // attach to page
labelname.attach = 2; // attach to axes scales

See User-created Visual Objects in LabTalk help for other general object properties and methods.

Solution found:
I put this post in the wrong forum.

label -p x y message; \\attaches the label to the layer frame.

label -a x y message; \\ attaches to layer frame and axis

label -n; \\ attaches to page.

This is what I have figured out from the help file and a few posts on the forum.

Thanks
