Posted - 03/05/2017 : 5:01:46 PM Hi, I'm new to Origin. I am trying to use the non-linear curve fitting function to some displacement/time experimental data to acquire some unknown parameters about the tested material. Similar has been done in a past paper. However, I am unsure if I am going about the process in the right way as I am getting ridiculous values. Any help would be appreciated.
The above equations is the full model that the experimental data needs to be fit to. Everything is known apart from E',H and Nq. These are the values that I want. Function type: Equations
Is this the right way to go about this ?

I see that the function you defined only has one part, the second part about HCREEP is missing or not?
Have you done quick check on your function yet, with the Quick Check button under the Function Body box? Was that gotten values reasonable? You said you've got some "ridiculous values", could you give us some detailed descriptions on them?
Would you please send us the function file(*.fdf) to let use check more, via tech@originlab.com?
Thanks, Shirley OriginLab
