Dear all,
How do I calculate the area enclosed by the curve and the three straight lines in green, blue and red in the picture?
The red straight line is X=1.
Your help is greatly appreciated |

Origin's integrate gadget can do the job. But to work with the tool, X value of the data should be monotonic increasing or decreasing.
So first you should exchange your x, y data and recreate the graph.
Then you can look at the image below as an example. 1. When the graph is active, choose menu "Gadgets:Integrate" 2. In the opened dialog, choose "ROI Box" tab and set value for "From" and "To" to define the ROI size, (if in your image, it is -0.25 and -1) 3. then choose "Baseline" tab and set baseline to be a specified value (if in your image, it is 1) 4. Click OK and close the preference dialog. You will see the area on top of ROI
