Is there a built in function in OriginPro that allows user to fit data to a FOPDT (first order plus dead time) model? If not, does anyone have any experience entering this model manually? The model equation is here: http://apmonitor.com/pdc/index.php/Main/FirstOrderSystems

Hi,

Origin doesn’t have such build-in function. You need to create your own user-defined fitting function. Here is a tutorial of creating an ordinary differential fitting function you can take a look:

Thanks,
Amanda
