Right now I installed the version Origin75Prof. During the first tests I observed that some of the sample files do not show any tick labels. Changing the scale type from linear to log10 the type of axis changes as expected but in this case the tick labels appear. Any other new graph which I generate do not show the tick labels if scale type linear was chosen. What's going wrong.

We think we have found an immediate fix to this problem. If you see this problem, please open the Script window in Origin (Window:Script Window) and enter the following:
@sc=1 (then press enter)

If a graph is already active, refresh it (Window:Refresh). You should see the tick labels.

To make this change permanent, open Macros.cnf which is located in your Origin folder in Notepad. Add the following line to the bottom of the file and save.
@sc=1;
Then restart Origin and it will use this value.

Hello, Barb

Thanks for the info!
When is the release date for SR2?
The reason I ask this, is the question, if it is worth to wait a couple of weeks for a SR0-Release-CD from the distributor or is it "faster" to wait for the SR1?!

Thanks
Hajo

Update...
This problem has nothing to do with license files...
This problem has now been reported by about 4 customers. For these customers, the problem exists in Origin 7.5 SR1 but not in Origin 7.5 SR0. Also, Carsten tested in an inhouse Origin 7.5 SR2 development build and the problem does not exist.
If you see this problem, and you patched to SR1, you should run Repair to return to SR0. (Start button, Programs | OriginLab | Origin 7.5 | Origin 7.5 Add or Remove Files.)
If you have an SR1 installation CD, please ask your distributor or OriginLab for an SR0 CD.
The problem should be fixed in the upcoming SR2 patch.

Dr. Benecke,
I'm going to email you directly on the issue. Now that I've looked closer at our database, it looks like you were not able to obtain your node-locked license file.
We can address this best by email.

Hi Carsten,
It seems like maybe you are running Origin 7.5 without a node-locked license file or temporary license file, and so you are in the "3 minute" limited mode? Is this the case? If you run Help:About Origin, is there a "time remaining" entry in the dialog box?

I forgot to mention that the above described problems also occur using the original Origin samples without any changes! No changes were also observed when starting from scratch after rebooting the PC.
