Thanks! greg,
I found the reason. It is due to the unicode character setting in windows. I set it to another language. When I changed it back to English, origin works OK.

There are actually two methods of inserting characters greater than 127 via the Symbol Map. Both methods work on my system, but some systems behave differently due to handling of Unicode characters.

You might have dismissed a dialog with a 'remember me' checkbox at one point, and now you don't see the dialog.

To test the two methods:
Select Tools : Reactivate Reminder messages from the menu.
Add some text to a worksheet or graph.
While in in-place edit mode, press Ctrl+M to open the Symbol Map dialog.
Double-click on any character with a value from 128 to 255.
When the dialog opens, press Yes.
Double-click on that character again.
When the dialog opens, press No.
On my computer, both characters display the same, but on yours one may be 'right' and one may be 'wrong'. Double-click the same character, check the 'Do not show this message..' box and choose the response that's 'right'. Origin will use the 'correct' response in the future.

Thanks, greg.
I tried just what you said. It seems I can only input first 128 characters in the symbol map, but I can not input the other 128 special characters.
Is this a unique? or you have the same problem?

Origin 7.5 makes it easy to insert characters from the Symbol font (and others) by making the Symbol map available in In-Place Edit mode.

Right-click where you want to add some text and select "Add Text".
Type until you need a special character and then press Ctrl+M (hold down the Ctrl key and press M). That opens the Symbol Map dialog that gives you access to all your fonts and all their characters.

Note : If the Text Control dialog appears when you Add Text, then you probably have In-Place Edit mode turned OFF - in which case you will have to resort to the Windows Character Map program. You can turn ON In-Place Editing by selecting Tools : Options : [Text Fonts] and make sure 'Disable in-place editing' is NOT checked.
