Hi pros !
I have data looking like this:

A(X) B(Y)
A 3
B -
C 6
D -
E -
F 9.5

I want to make a line+symbol graph, but in this case i dont know how to tell Origin to connect the symbols with a simple linear line (because of the missing Y-values and the non numeric X-values).
Is there a solution ?

Thanks
Alexander

Hi Alexander:

1. Create your line + symbol plot.
2. From the menu, choose Format:Page.
3. Click on the Display tab.
4. Select the Connect line across Missing Data check box.

I hope this helps.

Mike
