Maybe I didn't express explicitly. I want to know how to make a map like following draft:
...................
..|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|..
..|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|..
..|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|..
.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.|.
(a sphere surface colour map including longitude and latitude with different colour in every lattice corresponding to it's value)
with Origin 6.1?
It is a pity that I can't paste my sample figure.
Thanks!

Hi chenguanzh,

Origin will make a contour map (a "2D plot" with color providing the 3rd dimension) or a 3D color mapped surface (a "3D plot" with color providing the 4th dimension). To learn more about these plots, look in the \Sample Projects\Graphing\3D Plots folder in your Origin program folder and open 3D Surface & Contour.OPJ and Contour.OPJ.

I hope this helps.

Mike
