Posted - 05/26/2004 : 9:26:17 PM You probably are better off upgrading to Origin 7.5, but I just tried using Origin 6.1 as a non-Administrator in XP pro and had no problems at all. I think you should disregard the cautionary message you saw. Have you had any specific problems?

Posted - 05/26/2004 : 1:50:03 PM I've also used Origin 7.5 in XP Pro as a non-administator with no problems. However, you may need adminitrative priveleges to install it.
...The only registry accesses (other than during installation) by Origin that I am aware of concern the toolbars. That goes for Origin 6.1 as well so you shouldn't have problems in that version either.
