Origin Ver. 8.0.63.988 and Service Release SR6
Operating System: Win 7 enterprise

As in the header - Origin takes up to 1 minute to start as if it was searching for something.
Once it started - no problems.
All specified file folders are on the local drive.
please help!

Download the latest version, Origin 2017, and see the same problem appear or not.

Hi,

Several reasons would cause this problem. Please check the following situations one by one:

1.If your User Files Folder (UFF) is set to a network path or roaming profile, change UFF to a local path.

2.Sometime printer driver can mess with Origin, reset the default printer to another one on the local machine.

3.If you have a Concurrent license and the Flexnet server locates far away (for example in another country), or in a network very slow to connect, Origin operation would heavily rely on the network status. To determine whether the network makes Origin slow to open in such case, try to break from network temporarily or borrow a license from server and then restart Origin, see if it starts faster.

Regards,
Yuki
