Posted - 06/17/2004 : 9:49:12 PM in a double-Y graph, how could i active and handle the two curve respectivly? I have one x axis and two y axes , X Y1 Y2 1 16.27 6 2 17.21 5.91 3 18.05 2.54 5 12.55 5.9 10 9.82 4.66 15 9.7 6.65 for example, i could active and handle the first curve (Y1), such like polynomial fit. however, i cann't active the second curve(Y2),how could i fix that problem? THANKS !

Posted - 06/18/2004 : 3:28:30 PM A handy feature is to show the active dataset in the Legend...
Right-Click on a Graph and choose 'Plot Details' or 'Properties'. Select the Graph level of the tree on the left and Click the Legend tab. Check the Indicate Active Dataset checkbox. Click OK.
A Red box appears around the symbol part of the Legend for the Active Dataset (doesn't print; doesn't export). Click on a different symbol and you've changed tha Active Dataset. (Look in the Status bar or the Data menu to verify.)

Posted - 06/18/2004 : 09:04:58 AM Hi ciaclin:
In general, when you perform any operation in an Origin graph window -- smoothing, curve-fitting, data-masking, etc. -- you do so on the "active" data set. There are a couple of ways to make a data set (plot) active, but this is the easiest:
1. With the graph window active, click on the Data menu. --> At the bottom of the menu, is the Data List. The "active" data set (A(X),B(Y)) will have a check mark next to it, indicating that it is the active data set.
2. Click on the A(X),C(Y) data set. --> The second Y data set is now the active data set.
