(I’m using OriginPro 6.1)

Posted - 07/12/2004 : 10:08:04 AM Hi Tenna,
Start by changing the Layer Area and Units settings on the Size/Speed in Plot Details (with your graph active, choose Format:Layer from the menu, then select the Size:Speed tab). I would set my Units to cm and go from there.
My quick test showed that if I made Width = Height, then distances were equivalent on the X and Y axes. To get the distance between the tick marks to equal exactly 1 cm, you'll just have to manipulate the From, To and # Major Ticks settings on the Scale tab of the Axis dialog box (with your graph active, choose Format:Axes from the menu).
One other thing: If you are printing these graphs, small differences in the way that print drivers work may skew your measurements just slightly. If you find that this is the case, go to the Options dialog box (choose Tools:Options), select the Miscellaneous tab and adjust the X Scale or Y Scale Factor to compensate for any difference in X and Y measurements in your printout.
