Hi,
The only thing I found in matlab console that origin can import matlab workspace data into matrix if I use gr matname1. Since I can not plot 2d graph using the matrix data, I need to convert it into worksheet data...complex... Is it possible to get the MATLAB matrix data in worksheet directly?

Thanks

Hello,

One other option is to have your MATLAB code launch Origin as a COM Sever and then push the data from MATLAB directly into Origin objects such as matrices and worksheets.

If you have 7.5 SR4, you can look under
\Samples\Automation Server\MATLAB
subfolder to see an example.

Hi, Thank you very much. I found that before. But my intention is run a matlab code so that all the data are copied to worksheet directly.

Anyway Thanks.

Hi rezahasi1,

Yes, you can import MATLAB matrix data in worksheet directly.
When you define your matname1 data in the Matlab Console dlg, and then click the "Import..." button, another dialog box will open.
Select the matname1 in this dialog and click "Import As Worksheet" button here, a new worksheet window will be created, which is filled with your matname1 data.
Hope this's helpful for you.

Thanks,
Sammi
