Hi,
This may not be exactly based on Origin.I am looking for LM algorithm specifically flowchart of the iteration.Has any one come across such one?
Kindly give the refs. / website.
By the way does all ORIGIN's NL analysis based on only LM method?

Thanq

Hi,

Origin offers Levenberg-Marquardt minimization as well as Simplex method. In the Advanced NLSF tool, on the Fit Page, there is a separate button to perform Simplex iterations. The default iteration buttons use LM.

As for the LM algorithm/flowchart, you will need to look up text books or search the web - we do not have the flowchart available. The code we use has been customized over the years to meet the needs of the product.

If you are having specific problems with fitting, please post details or contact tech support.
