Posted - 08/23/2004 : 2:46:54 PM Hi,
is there a chance to start PFM again after finishing it once? lets say I fitted peaks with PFM, but on the next day I want to remove one peak or readjust fit otherwise... Now I erase all fitting files and launch PFM anew. It would be nice to have chance readjust fit without doing it anew.
thanks

Posted - 09/03/2004 : 12:47:31 PM Thanks Scott, it works. Is there a way to include into this Initialization file information about baseline and data about picked fit region? I usually subtract my baseline and Initialization file returns it not subtracted, so when modifying my fit I get huge disorder due to not subtracted baseline.
thanks

Posted - 08/29/2004 : 9:48:30 PM I tried saving settings to an Initialization file, too. In manual they say that it should save peak functions, number of peaks etc. But, nothing happens when starting this .ini file, I have to do fit again. This PFM saving procedure looks pretty much mysterious: can save everything, but eventually I can not load anything :)
thanks

Posted - 08/29/2004 : 3:16:27 PM Can anybody describe this PFM Procedure saving thouroughly? In PFM manual it's mentioned quickly, but when trying to save procedure and loading it back from that additional button I get messed up scales of axis, fewer number of points, can't see any fit curves etc., basically I start anew again. |

Posted - 08/24/2004 : 02:33:18 AM Hi Jonas,
When you fit peaks with PFM, you might find there is a checkbox "Save Procedure File" on last Results page. Select this checkbox, and click Finish button, a Button Settings dialog box would prompt. It is for you to save your original settings into a button which is for your future using. Then, you can readjust your former settings by clicking this new button without doing anew. Hope it's helpful.
Thanks, Sammi
