Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.1
Operating System: windows 2000

Hi,
I am having trouble with exporting graph into word (.wmf format).
When I copy a graph in origin and paste in word, graph are looks fine
except position of y-axis title changes.
It only happens when I declick 'show Major Label"
I only want to show title, not label...
It also looks fine when I export page to JPG file format..

Is there anyway that I export a graph into same position as shown in origin??

Thanks in advance

Hi Jooho,

The solution you found, of replacing the axis title by a generic label, is a good solution for v6.1 - we will post again if we can think of a better way.

I tried this in the latest version 7.5 and there when I turn off the labels, the title shifts right on the graph, but I can drag and position it where I want and it stays put in that position even when exported.

Hi,
It works !!!
then...
If I do that, I lost high resolution which I have been used 300 or 600...
It looks bad....when I copy the graph into word..
I found a way to do it..
If I cut and past the title, it would set the title as a just simple text.
And it will not change the position...
I don't know if this is a good solution...

Hi Jooho,

Try the following:
Go to Tools->Options menu in Origin, then in the dialog that comes up go to the Page tab and select the Keep Size radio button. Then do copy paste. The axis label should stay where it is, in the output pasted to Word.
