Hello,
I´m a newbie in Origin and do have litte trouble with the program. I´ve tried to import an asci-file into Origin, but the importet values are incorrect. The file consists of two colums with different values in it, looking like this: 0.00000000 -4.33000000 1.56250000 -5.85200000 3.12500000 -5.73400000 4.68750000 -5.57700000 6.25000000 -5.49900000 7.81250000 -4.58100000 9.37500000 -3.54300000 10.93750000 -2.54500000
The importet values in Origin look like: 0 -1,1687E9 1,5625E8 -1,3168E9 3,125E8 -1,4129E9 4,6875E8 -1,485E9 6,25E8 -1,5971E9 7,8125E8 -1,7052E9
The imported values are (also reconverted from hex-system) not the same as in original file. What can I do, to get the right/original values in Origin?
Thank you for your efforts!
Best regards Michael |

Posted - 08/24/2017 : 06:07:18 AM Hi,
When you import the ASCII file, please check the Show Option Dialog box before you click OK button:
In the impACS dialog, select 1,000.00 (the first option) from Numeric Separators dropdown list, then click OK button to see if the issue is fixed.
