I'm sorry to ask this again. Previously these "back" and "front" buttons did work. But today they are unwilling to do so! There is an arrow on the figure, and however hard i push the "back" button it won't go back. Is there some setting that should be considered?
Thank you.

You can do it by using "Back" and "Front" tool buttons in the Object Edit toolbar. This toolbar can be shown from the Toolbars tab in the Customize Toolbar dialog("View:Toolbars" menu).
