Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR4
Operating System: W XP

Unfortunately in the latest Origin the Button Edit Mode became now impossible to activate via CTRL+B. This was a very helpful and quick way to switch over. Now I always have to use the mouse just to flip the mode. Sad!

Hi Sammi,

thanks for your immediate response. Good to see that you care for the needs of your users! I'd really appreciate to get this functionality back.

Best regards,
Marko

Hi Marko,

As some users felt it's a bit confusing to have CTRL + B as both Button Edit mode and Bold (for in place text editing), we removed this shortcut from 7.0 version.
And some other users thought this was a really useful shortcut that we should get it back.
We have discussed this issue in QA-1887 (The number QA-1887 refers to an internal database entry - we use a database to track feature suggestions and bug reports.)
We will find a better way to solve this problem.

Thanks,
Sammi
