Hi,

I'm curious if there is an option in OriginLab to fit one function to another. I have experimental data. I also have theoretical calculations. I would like to be able to match the theoretical results to the experimental ones (I only have points for the theoretical function, I do not have formula) and get the parameters of that fit, and also to assess to what extent the same theoretical predictions agree with the experiment.

Best Regards.

Hi,

In addition to Aviel's info, if you don't have the formula of the fitting function, the following tutorial may also be helpful:

Hi,

Please take a look at our nonlinear fitting tutorials to see if this helps.
