Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.0G
Operating System: Win 2000

When preparing a plot window I want to recall my settings (scale, font, size, ...). But when I save the .OTP template the only way to make a plot with my own settings is with "Draw -> open with template". When adding further layers to this plot it sometimes returns to a "standard" template discarding my settings.
Any ideas?

regards
Mike

Hi Mike,

Saving a graph template only saves the properties of existing layers. Layers that are added later will not inherit those properties. One solution is to create extra layers before you save the template. You can also copy properties from one layer and apply to another with LabTalk commands. (See the layer command and object.)
