Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2016 (64-bit) Sr2, b9.3.2.303 (Home Use)
Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)

Now I have done an experiment with several different samples, and each sample was conducted in duplicate. When I made the line graph, the two duplicate from one sample will be automatically assigned to different colors and symbols. But I want them to have the same color but with different symbols, and this mode can be applied to the following graph that I'm gonna make. It seems that it's not the smart way to set the color and symbol for each duplicate one by one. So is there any suggestion regarding my case? Thank you!

Best regards,
Junrui

Hi Junrui[/i]

You can apply appropriate "increment list" of the line color for the grouped plots. The increment list
should have paired colors as in e.g., "Q11 Paied Color" built-in list (which has Light-blue, Blue, Light-red,
Red, Light-green, Green,... in order) so that the sequence of the plot lines follows according to the list.
Please see the screenshot below.

Of course, you can customize the increment list (by pressing "..." button at right of the color bar),
and save it for the other graph later (by right-clicking the color bar, and choosing "Save Increment List" flyout).

As for the symbol shapes to be applied, you can also customize the increment list of the "Symbol Type" there.

Hope this work for you.
