Hi everybody,
I want to vertically shifted 10 time decay curves (~exp(t/tau) to avoid their overlap (in y log type scale, so 10 lines)but Origin does not carried out this operation correctly (The lines are deteriorated) N.B. all values in the worksheet are positive. Thanks |

If the two plots come from two datasets that just differ in scale (such as one is 10 times the other), then the plots should look exactly the same - only the y scale would be different. So I am not sure what the problem is.
Do you have speed mode on in one graph and off in the other? That could potentailly create such an effect. If this is not it, then you need to contact tech support, send them your OPJ with your exact version number etc.

the left image is the non shifted line in log scale the right image is the shifted line in log scale (lines becomes a curves)

Not sure what you mean by "lines are deteriorated" - could you post an image of the graph here? (You can do this by clicking on the "Insert Image" button in the Format group). Otherwise, please contact tech support with your Origin Project.
