Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR0
Operating System: XP SP1

Hello!

There is such nice function (Import Wizard), but if i try to import more then 14 dat-files it doesn't work at all!
Is it OK?
or may be it is because i have SR0.

I want to import more than 500 dat files in one worksheet.

Thanks.

As Mike says, if you are experiencing a registration or licensing problem, it is best to contact your Origin support representative or OriginLab technical support. To resolve these issues, we often include serial number(s), web membership account(s), etc. in our correspondence, and this information should not be shared on a public forum like this.

But in general, it is possible that if you are running Origin 7.5 SR0, and then you apply the SR2 patch, in some cases you will find that the License Information dialog box opens at Origin start-up after patching. This is because Origin 7.5 SR0 may have created your license file based on a removable ethernet device on your computer, or possibly a docking station, instead of based on a built-in ethernet device (or other more permanent computer details). This problem was corrected in all builds after SR0. However, the correction could cause you to see the License Information dialog box after applying the SR2 patch. The solution is to obtain a new license file from the OriginLab website. This can be done directly from the dialog box, or by contacting OriginLab technical support.

I have one other concern. You say that you have updated your SR0 to SR5. I am hoping that you first applied the intermediate SR2 patch, before applying SR5. If you obtained the patches by running Origin's Help:Check for Updates command, then you will always obtain the correct patch for your current build. However, if you browse the OriginLab website for patches, you can download any patch. You need to review the information on the patch download patch to make sure it can be applied to your build.

If you think you may have applied the SR5 patch to SR0, then please also include that information in your email to our Technical Support team.

I suggest that you update to the latest version (SR5) in any case. If you are importing with the Wizard dialog you might just be encountering a limit to the number of characters allowed in the File Name list. I think that limit was lifted in one of the service releases. Meanwhile in SR0 you might have better luck if you import by drag and drop.
