Hi all,
I'd like to know how to manage constant in a nonlinear curve fit. In particular i created a new function to fit my scatter data point and it works. Is it possible to change the costant value from the workbook? Because that costants change often and i'd like to automatize the process.
I tried to put in the costant value the column name that i would like to change but unfortunately it ask me to fill only numbers.
Thanks all Appreciate it

I'm not exactly sure if I know what you mean, but here are some tools that I think will help.
To automate the curve fitting (replace the data and repeat the analysis) you can use Batch Processing or Batch Plotting.
For Batch Processing you will save your workbook with the nonlinear fit analysis as an Analysis Template (Make sure that the green lock icon on the FitNL1 worksheet is set to Auto by right clicking and selecting auto). http://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/AnalysisTemplate-BatchProcess
You can as well use Batch Plotting (again the green lock must be set to auto). With the graph activated, right click and select Batch Plotting. You will then select the datasets you want to plot with. http://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/GSB-template-theme-batchplotting Thanks Aviel OriginLab |
