I need to make a 3D plot consisting of multiple 2D colormap/contour plots, IOW a "stack" of flat 2D plots that can be viewed & rotated like the 3D contour plots. Is there a way to do this in Origin? Thanks.

Hi no6b,

Origin doesn't (really) support the plotting of multiple matrix datasets in a single 3D plot (it can be done, but the results are usually less than satisfactory). When you throw in the need to be able to rotate the figure, your request seems even less "do-able."

So, I would have to say that I don't think we can do this, but if you could supply a link to an example graph, we could probably say something more definitive.
