Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 Demo
Operating System: XP Home

Im trying to work out whether or not the hastle of upgrading from Origin 6.0 to 7.5 is worth it, and I noticed I can import thermogalactic *.spc files, which is of interest.

However, I really think its necessary to be able to view the X axis data, and whilst I can get the spacing and start value, do I really have to make my own X axis column?

Please... Why cant I see it and is it possible to create the X axis data column?

Thanks.

Hi rjeans:

This is covered in the Origin Help file (Help:Origin) topic Worksheet Data > Importing Data into a Worksheet Window > Importing Thermo Galactic SPC Data Files.

If you don't haven't downloaded the help files, you can get them here:
