Posted - 03/22/2005 : 2:17:12 PM Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 5.0 Operating System:Windows 98 Second Edition
Hi, I already install Install the 5 disk of Origin 5 and at the last disk i install custom disk... In the case i put in the floppy "The Calorimetry Experts - OriginTM Ver. 5.0 includes DSC ONLY" at then finish the installation. I open the Origin 5.0 Professional and go to FORMAT - MENU and i think there must be something about DSC, but just appears Full menus or short menus... Iīm trying to open file (file - open) with the extension *.DSC but this file option donīt appears, just appears file *.OPJ, *.ORG, *.OGW, *.OGG, *.OGM or *. txt, but here is the extension for file *.DSG? What in doing wrong? Can someone help me?

Tell me one more thing. The all equipment that i descrived itīs necesasy to be connect to the PC to processing DSC data? At this momment the PC is offline of the equipment...? Itīs not possible to see data DSC with the equipment offline?

Some equipment manufacturers buy Origin software, then customize it so that it works with a specific instrument that they build. Since the standard Origin/OriginPro software package does not come with any built-in functions for processing DSC data, this functionality would have to have been added by the maker of your instrument. Therefore, we can't help you. You will have to contact the manufacturer directly.

The equpipement comes from France! The product was buy from Bio-Logic. The material is: - SMF-4/QS including: Microprocessor MPS-53/4 and Windows software. - Optical System MOS-200
I donīt think so they a represnt group in Portugal?

It sounds as though you have an OEM version of the Origin software. You may need to contact your equipment manufacturer to get help with this.
