Hi, I met a problem when plotting 2curves using different style :line , line+symbol. It seems that Origin doesn't support use these two styles in the same graphy . Any suggestion is welcome.

Hi,
If your graph already exists and you are not able to switch one of the curves to a different style, this is probably because your plots are grouped together.
When you create a graph in Origin by simultaneously higlighting multiple columns and creating a plot for example, the plots are grouped and it is assumed that they are all of the same type.
Plots can be ungrouped by either using the new Plot Setup dialog in 7.5 (double-click on layer icon) or using the old Layer dialog in 7.5 and previous versions (alt-double-click on layer icon in 7.5). Once ungrouped you can then double-click on each curve to bring up Plot Details dialog to customize the plot. Note that a graph layer can contain more than one group, or a mixture of grouped and ungrouped plots etc.

First, plot your first dataset as a line plot. Secondly, highlight the second dataset (in your worksheet window). Next, click on the graph window so that it is the active window, then choose Graph:Add Plot to Layer:Line + Symbol. You may need to click the Rescale button on the Graph toolbar to complete the operation.
