Hi all,
I would like to fill col(A) with date & time
(format: yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss). A time interval between
each row is 10 seconds. My approach for this is...
1. Select the suitable display format for col(A)
2. Input "2004/12/01 00:00:00"(example) to the first row
3. Open "Set Column Values" window and input the following equation.
col(A)=col(A)[i-1]+(1/24)*(1/60)*(10/60)
*Start index=2, End index=267840(1 month)
However, some data have "1 second error".
ex) i=36055 2004/12/05 04:08:59
(correct data is 2004/12/05 04:09:00)
How can I avoid it?

I think that the problem happened because you
are using the recurrence formula. The cell
values in an Origin worksheet are represented as
binary double floating numbers(8), therefore,
in principle, any decimal number in most cases
has some precision error, and when the term in
recurrence goes farther, the error accumulates
more. Therefore, I suggest not to use the recurrence,
and try to produce, e.g., based on the index, or
something like that.
I hope I hit the right spot.

P.S. 1 day in a Date column is equivalent to 1.0 in
number value. So, you can just add (10/(24*60*60))*(i-1)
to the 1st cell of the column for every 10 sec increment.
