Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5Pro SR5
Operating System: XP pro

Highlighting the X-Y columns and selecting Plot->Column (or any other plot for that matter) results in no plot. I copied ASCII data from a different spreadsheet (Minitab), renamed the columns and selected a column plot. It worked for the first column, but when I added subsequent columns to that worksheet, it did not. Another worksheet in the same project was fine. I followed the same procedure, adding a column & plotting, adding another column, etc. and no problem. I've been doing this for weeks with no problem until today. Plus, I can open another project file that previously plotted fine and those columns won't plot. Origin is updated and I've restarted both Origin (usually fixes little oddities like this) and the computer. No luck. The only thing I can do is keep pasting my columns into a new worksheet, plot them until one doesn't respond and copy them into another new worksheet, etc. If there is a solution to this annoying little problem, I'd love to know it.

Hi mrg209,

Hard to say what may be happening. The best thing to do is to send an e-mail to tech@originlab.com, and attach your Origin project file. Please explain your problem and refer to this forum post in your e-mail.

Thanks.

Mike
