Posted - 10/19/2017 : 09:29:33 AM Hi,
1) The derivative function: http://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/Derivative-func
2) The derivativeXY function: http://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/DerivativeXY-func If you use derivativeXY function in the F(x) dialog, you will obtain the same value as in column D.
When you use Analysis -> Mathematics -> Differentiate, this method automatically uses the derivativeXY function because you have a corresponding xy dataset col(A(X)) and col(B(Y)). If you delete col(A(X)) and then calculate the derivative by using the differentiate dialog box, the dialog box will then calculate by using the derivative(vd) function rather than derivativeXY function.
