Hi,
I am not a frequent Origin Lab user.
I am trying to plot a graph with 2048 points. I am getting two curves in the same graph. But when I reduce the number of data points to 600, the graph looks fine. Is there any way to avoid two curves with 2048 data points?

Thank You
Bakhtiyar

Hi Thomas,

If you mean speed mode just disable once and click the Save Template button.

Hi,

my Problem is someway linked with that. Is there a way to disable the Preview- Mode permanently? For my calculations it is nerving to disable it always manually.

Thanks
Thomas

Thank You for you replies. Actually it was the scale. The scale was too small for the data set.

Hi Bakhtiyar,

It could be that when you plot with 2048 points speed mode of plotting (where points are skipped to give a quick view of the data) is on which introduces some artifact which makes it look like there are two lines.

So try this:
1> Plot again with 2048 points
2> Bring up Plot Details dialog box (double-click on plot line, or right-click inside layer and select from context menu)
3> In the left panel tree click on the Layer1 tree node
4> In the right panel click on the Size/speed tab and uncheck the "worksheet data, max points per curve checkbox"

Hi Bakhtiyar,

It's not obvious why you get two curves. In fact it's hard to visualize what you described. Could you post images of your 2048 and 600 point graphs?
