Operating System: Windows XP Pro

I'am a new user to Origin and I'am trying to make a bar plot which is different than the default bar plot!
My X-data are compound names and my Y-data are peakwidths. These peakwidths are recorded at three different temperatures. If I make a bar plot now, this would give for each compound three bars (for each temperature one) representing the peakwidth. This is done for 3 LC columns. I can make 3 different bar plots (for each LC column one). But I was wondering if it is possible to put all 3 bar plots into one graph? And preferably in a 3D plot, so you can turn it a little bit?

Cheers, RICO

Hi RICO,

Click and select all three Y columns and then use the menu item Plot->3DXYY->3D Bars to get the 3D plot that you are looking for. It can then be rotated using the 3D Rotation toobar buttons.

Note that there are also special bar plot types such as stacked columns - click and select all Y columns and use the Plot->Special Bar/Column->Stacked Column for example.
