Origin Version : 7.0 Pro. SR4
Operating System: Win. XP

The minus sign "-" in the superscript and the axis labels seems too short, I looked hard in ORigin to prolong this dash line, unsuccessfully. One possible way is to use a large font size for this minus sign only while remain others unchanged. But it looks ugly as the dash line looks very thick but still short. What I want is the same lengh with the underscore "_" in origin.

Any one knows how to plot en dash or em dash in Origin? Thanks!

Hi,

For example, you want to show x^(-2), so right click on the axis label, select "Properties", and then enter: x\+(\g(-)2)

Please note that "-" is surrounded by \g().
