Posted - 12/17/2017 : 06:14:02 AM how to plot band structure and dos together. i.e one graph with bandstructure and other with DOS both joined together(side by side).
in papers this is usually done DOS and bandstructure side by side. DOS representing density of the bands |

Posted - 12/18/2017 : 12:26:50 AM i want to plot "horizontal side by side" graph. the image shows two bands+dos images
actually, BANDSTRUCTURE AND DOS CAN BE PLOTTED SEPARATELY. BUT IF WE CAN JOIN THEM THEN , THE COMBINATION BECOMES MORE INTERESTING AS DOS WILL SHOW THE DENSITY OF THE STATES---WHICH CAN BE CORRELATED FROM THE BANDSTRUCTURE. |

In Origin, you can add more plots to the layer easily, maybe see this?
