Posted - 12/17/2017 : 06:24:05 AM once we draw band structure, in the plot we have to put lines at some points representing the k-points [gamma-L-M..] called BANDLINES.
HOW TO DRAW THESE LINES?

BUT OTHER WAY OF ADDING BANDLINES IS "ADDING Y-AXIS"-- AS MUCH THE BANDLINES ARE.I HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH THIS FORMAT, BUT THE PROBLEM HAVE BEEN RESOLVED AS I AM ABLE TO MODIFY EACH LINE AND GRAPH SEPARATELY.

Posted - 12/17/2017 : 2:35:26 PM You can completely customize your axis ticks and labels. You can use Special Ticks so that the lines can be saved into templates.
1. You can disable the automatic ticks by setting Major Ticks By Count and set count to zero, 2. Next you go to Special Ticks tab and enter the band line values and labels.
to learn more about Special Ticks, see this
