Posted - 12/24/2017 : 09:36:53 AM I use Origin Ver.7.5. The X-axis is "2000/1/1 0:00, 2000/1/1 1:00", and I have turned this column of data into "Date" format. Then I draw a picture below: As I want to display just "Jan, Feb,...", I selected: Tick labels -> Type: month. The axis does change but the month it marked is wrong. For example, the fist data should be in January, but it said that in July? What's worse, there were two "Aug", which confused me. |

Posted - 12/24/2017 : 7:56:46 PM Thanks! I sovlved my problem. That's because I chose "month" type instead of "display".quote: Originally posted by cpyang
I don't see a problem, I made up data using your date range of one hour increment since Jan 2 2000 and some time in 2001, and set major increment to 1 month, as seen below in the axis dialog (I am using 2018)
1. Scale
2. Tick Labels, choose a display type as Date, not as Month, and then choose the display format to show month name only,
And the resulting X axis
