Posted - 01/02/2018 : 10:49:00 AM How can automatically number or label all of the graphs in a merged graph pages (which includes four figures/graphs)? I want to label/number them as (a), (b), …etc. or as (i), (ii), … etc. I know I can manually do it by adding text. However, I am sure there must be an automatic method in an advanced graphing software like Origin Pro. Posted - 01/03/2018 : 12:09:09 PM Hi,
If all your graphs share the same format then you can use Batch Plotting or Apply Saved Theme from the Theme Organizer.
Batch Plotting: https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Graphing-Batch-Plotting
Theme Organizer: https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/ThemeRef-ThemeOrganizer#The_Graph_Themes_Tab
If each graph has a different format, then for now you will need to add each label individually. I have put in a request to add a feature in the next version of Origin so that you can easily add labels to number each graph. We will let you know when/or if this feature will be added.
Note: How to apply theme in Theme Organizer:
The theme organizer does not include text labels, therefore I used y-axis labels:
1. Double click y-axis to open axis dialog. 2. Select the Title Tab -> Input text i.e. A. 3. Rotate(deg) input 0. Select Apply. 4. Repeat for all layers.
4. Select all axis labels and drag to desired location i.e. top left corner.
5. Now save graph as theme by right clicking graph and select Save Format as Theme...
6. Now select your graph that you want to apply theme to. Select Tools-> Theme Organizer. In Graph tab select the new saved theme and select Apply Now. You can also change the options in Apply Theme To -> Graphs in folder.
Thanks Aviel

Posted - 01/03/2018 : 06:15:17 AM Dear Aviel Thank you for your reply. Is there any way to label the graphs after merging. I mean I have already merged the graphs and spent time on other tweakings. Unfortunatly I didn't used this option during Merge Graph Window dialog.

Hi,
You can do this in the Merge Graph Windows dialog. Under the Add Label dropdown menu, you can select custom and then select one of the options or input your own customized text.
Thanks Aviel OriginLab
