Posted - 02/06/2018 : 11:17:27 AM Hi,
I think you can use this method with version Origin 8:
Select the XYZ columns -> Select Worksheet -> Convert to Matrix -> Select XYZ Gridding. Select Ok. https://www.originlab.com/doc/Quick-Help/Convert-VirtualMatrixWks-to-XYZ
With the new matrixbook created, select all data in the matrixbook and select Plot from the menu bar -> Select 2D Contour. https://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/Contour-Color-Map
If you want to consider upgrading to Origin 2018, here is a simple tutorial for plotting a 2D surface plot with XYZ data in a worksheet with a minimum version 2015. https://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/XYZ-Contour
