Hey guys,

I am very new to Origin and I have to do a Contour Plot. The problem is, that I have a file with 3 Columns and I cannot figure out how to import it. The first two columns represent the lines and columns and the third column is the specific value. Is there an easy way to import this file in Origin?

I did not found any topic concerning this issues, but maybe I am too stupid to use the search engine

Best regards!

Edit: I am using Origin 7.5 as it is the only version provided by my university.

Thanks!

Just found out you only have to set the columns as XYZ and then you can convert them to a matrix.

Hi,

Just select File:Import:Single ASCII.. to import your file.

Thanks,
James
