Posted - 02/19/2018 : 03:40:33 AM Hello, quick question about the Heat Map ability. So say I have a 41x41 Matrix and I make a heat map of it. I would now like to draw a line along any axis/direction and would like to get an intensity plot for that line and only that line. In my case I have a heatmap from a Cu grid and would like to determine the lattice constants this way.
I can get the heatmap to work well, but this last part about drawing a line and getting a normal line graph from it is something that eludes me. Can anyone help me out? |

Does it work? If it worked, could you show me how it looks like, if you don't mind. I would like to see just for my curiosity.

Please try the plotting with Contour Profile.
Select Plot -> Select Profile -> Select Contour Profiles

With the graph plotted you can add, move, and delete profile lines in the horizontal and vertical direction.

  Thanks Aviel OriginLab |
