Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.5 (English)
Operating System: Win XP

I have about 100 CSV files, where the values are separated with a semicolon. Origin does not recognize this delimitor and imports the data as text values (all numbers are preceeded with a semicolon).

It is possible to import the data manually by opening "Import Option" and selecting "Other" delimitor and entering semicolon. But this option is not saved, doesn't matter if I press "Update Option" or not. As soon as I want to import next worksheet, I have to go back to "Import Options" panel and set the delimitor once more. Therefore it is also not possible to import the worksheets massively, because the respective dialog doesn't have any options for entering importing parameters.
What would you recommend?

Alexander.

Hi Alexander,

After you Update Options you must save the worksheet template. (You get a message to that effect when you click Update Options.) Click the Save Template button (next to Save Project) on the standard toolbar.
