The exported eps file from Origin cannot be properly edited in Adobe Illustrator, especially lines, axes, plots and etc. Does anyone know how to deal with this situation? Many thanks!

Hi,

You might also try to export as EMF file which can be brought into Adobe Illustrator just fine. You may have a better experience editing that way.

Also be aware that, for 3D OpenGL graphs, it is not possible to edit very much because the plot area is converted into a raster image during export. Due to the complexity of 3D OpenGL, it is not possible to easily vectorize the complex plot.

Thanks,

Hi,

Would you please tell more about the problem? We did some simple test here, can reproduce the problem.

If possible, could you please send us the eps file with the problem, also the project files related to it?

Thanks,
Shirley
