Of course, I recommend to use LaTex! But, if you don't want to use the LaTex mark-up syntax,
or whatever the reason is to simply enter and rotate a math equation from MathType, you can
do the following work-around - all operable within Origin: 1) Make a new Layout window. ("File> New> Layout")
2) Enter a MathType formula in the layout window.
3) Enlarge the formula as big as possible in the window.
4) Copy the layout by CTRL-C.
5) Open the Digitizer tool. ("Tools> Digitizer")
5) Press Pink Folder icon ("Import from Clipboard").
==> A digitizer window appears with the formula image.
6) Select "Image> Rotate" menu in Digitizer tool, and rotate the formula as you like.
7) Before you click OK, drag the BLUE and RED lines out of the frame into the grey area.
Click OK. Close Digitizer tool.
8) In your graph, paste (Ctrl-V) the rotated image. You can press "Back (data)" tool button
not to hide your graph by the image frame.Since copy-and-pasting MathType equation makes it to a bitmap, and you need enough resolution
not to show the jaggies, and step 3) is a key to prevent it.
